The Fuller Agency officially opened its doors on October 1, 2007 in Ruckersville, Virginia as a one person operation representing four insurance companies.

Within six months of opening, and after some initial success, Mattie heard about another insurance agent looking to sell her business. After several meetings an agreement was reached and The Fuller Agency acquired Shenandoah Insurance Agency, resulting in a large number of additional clients and two part-time staff members.

After the initial work of integrating the two agencies, things seem to be smoothing out and returning to normal.
